Join the Society for the Study of Celiac Disease, along with speakers from the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, MetroHealth, the Celiac Disease Foundation, and Schar USA for the annual SSCD College Summit. This program is designed for high school seniors and current college students diagnosed with celiac disease to learn about managing celiac disease and the gluten-free diet in the college environment. The webinar will address the following topics:

• Transition to college with celiac disease
• Medical management of celiac disease in the college setting
• How your health care team can support you in college
• Reasonable accommodations for celiac disease in college
• Accessing gluten-free food on a college campus
• Stocking your dorm room with gluten-free food
• Working with the Office of Disability Services
• Navigating Challenging Situations

All students who attend the program will be eligible to apply for a $1,500 college scholarship from Schar. The student (not a parent) must attend the live webinar to access the application. One scholarship will be offered at the end of the webinar.
